Kennedy Bizer....Derby Bicycle Center Team

Kennedy is a fifteen-year-old girl.
Coincidentally, she races in the Junior Women's 15-16 division.
Sometimes she also races in the Women's Cat 4, but that has
nothing to do with how old she is. Ironically, she has been
racing for longer than most of the women in that category.
Because, well, Kennedy's from a cycling-crazy family. Her mom
likes the sport, her dad likes the sport, her little brother
finished a century before he was born. Kennedy, likewise,
started being brainwashed at the tender age of seven, when her
mom did the Heartland Aids Ride. Because of this brainwashing as
a young child, she started racing when she was ten years old. At
the time, she wasn't quite sure why she was racing her bike. It
hurt, and she got blown into a guard rail (because, including
her steel-frame mountain bike she only weighed 94 pounds and the
wind was doing over 40 in a 20-MPH zone). But, she kept racing,
and here she is today, with five years of racing experience
under her belt and a sixth in the works. Kennedy really likes
bikes.
